Anh Hong Tran is a Vietnamese student who is in her second year of the 2-year MCH program. After finishing her thesis at medical school, To identify risk factors of HIV infection in pregnant women participating in the “Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission” program in Ho Chi Minh City, she received her excellent Doctor of Medicine’s degree in 2006. She then worked at Children’s Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. While working there, she won the Vietnam Education Foundation Fellowship to pursue her MPH at UC, Berkeley. She believes that she will gain a lot of interesting knowledge, both academic and personal, while attending UC, Berkeley. |
