David Cao is a first year MPH student at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health's Maternal and Child Health program. After graduating from UC Davis, he spent two years on outreach, education and community engagement work in various Bay Area communities. His work with underserved and at-risk families with children zero to five led him to pursue a MPH degree. He is interested in exploring the intersection of health, policy and education.
