Elizabeth is in her second year of the 2 year program. Prior to joining MCH, she was working as a Program Coordinator for a non-profit organization in East Africa and India. Before that, she was a high school history teacher and a basketball coach. Having graduated from Stanford University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in African history, Liz is excited to study international maternal and child health, along with reproductive rights and family planning issues. She hopes to combine her interests in health and education with those of sustainable development within the global community. One day, she'd like to work as an international public health nurse, preferably in sub-Saharan Africa. |
