Hatav is in her second year of the 2-year program.  She received her bachelor's degree in the field of Public Health Sciences from Tehran University and graduated in 2004 with honors degree. She then decided to gain some hands-on experience by working at the Pasteur Institute (IPI) where she was responsible for the vaccination unit and participated in a human whole virus Influenza vaccine project. Afterwards, she went on to get a position in National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). There she joined the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) department where she has been working as a professional health expert since 2005. As part of her responsibilities, she has been actively involved in launching and hosting seminars and workshops on injury prevention in the workplace, nutrition and eating behavior and has received formal recognition from NIOC for her contributions in the field of HSE. Her personal interests are swimming, mountain biking and outdoor activities. She used to swim competitively for a while and has won several titles at nationwide tournaments.
