Jennifer Clarke will be starting her first year of the 2 year program and is originally from Cincinnati, OH (Go Bearcats!), Jen Clarke headed to Washington DC to pursue her undergraduate degree. After graduation, she spent two years living and working outside of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Living at a home for orphaned children, she taught English classes and coordinated the international volunteer program. Jen moved back to Washington DC in 2007 to work in an early intervention program for high-risk pregnant women and new parents. This experience solidified her interest in public health issues, particularly unequal access to care for immigrant families. In 2008, Jen moved to the East Bay to be closer to family, and she began working at Planned Parenthood. She'll be pursuing a concurrent MSW degree, specializing in health.
