Lee Ann Dalton is a third-year student in the concurrent MSW/MPH program. Lee Ann received her B.A. in Social Work from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2003. During her time as a student she traveled to Asia where she witnessed the need for health services in the developing world. Her interest in public health was deepened during her two years as an elementary school social worker where she observed the often intertwined nature of her clients’ physical and mental health issues. Lee Ann has experience as a program manager for The Ark, a community living facility that seeks to empower residents to meet life’s challenges through community fellowship, spiritual growth and utilization of community organizations. For the past couple of years Lee Ann has focused on traveling with her family and spending time with her three-year-old daughter.
