Megan Swanson is a student in the 1-year MCH program.  Megan is a medical student at UCSF, currently pursuing the MPH between her third and fourth years.  Megan graduated from Stanford University in 2003 with a degree in Human Biology.  After college, she did some research in Tanzania investigating why and how women make choices about where to give birth.  She also worked as a medical assistant before starting medical school.  Megan plans to go into obstetrics and gynecology, and is particularly interested in family planning.
